Meet Dr. Richard Stone
Richard Maury Stone is Clinical Director of the Adult Leukemia Program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, attending physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He serves as vice chair of the Leukemia Committee of that National Cancer Cooperative Trials Group and has been the recipient of the American Cancer Society Clinical Career Development, The NIH Clinical Investigator and the Upjohn Outstanding Achievement in Cancer Research Awards. He has contributed research articles to multiple journals including Blood, Journal of Clinical Oncology and New England Journal of Medicine. He serves on the American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology Subcommittee and reviews NIH grants (Subcommittee H). He has written numerous reviews and chapters and is the editor of a recently published oncology textbook, Oncology: An Evidence- based Approach.
