Mission Statement

This Foundation hopes to play a major role in generating a million dollar endowment fund to find the cure for leukemia so that cancer does not take the lives of any more "Kristins."

Kristin’s family and friends have established a non-profit, tax exempt Foundation, to fund research and accelerate the cures for leukemia, lymphoma and allied cancers.

Research

There is a critical need for private funding for cancer research. The Foundation has joined forces with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute to establish an endowment fund to support the best researchers investigating the causes, treatments, and cures for leukemia and its related cancers.

Awareness, Involvement, Participation

The Foundation will fund and organize events including blood, platelet and bone marrow donor registration drives. The organization will create awareness and participation through educational programs and exchange of information in both medical and lay communities.

Family Support

As Kristin would have wished, the Foundation will donate a portion of its revenue to assist leukemia, lymphoma, and allied cancer victims and their families coping with the physical, emotional, and financial effects of these diseases.
